This is a private clinic founded in 1925, on the Swiss model. Today it is a renowned rehabilitation centre for neurological, cardiac and pulmonary patients, with an excellent general medicine department. It is run by the third generation of Quarenghis. Patients and their families are made comfortable in congenial surroundings, very different from a hospital, especially the food. The beautiful building and adjoining park make this the ideal place for a time of recuperation or rehabilitation after a trauma or to follow a special diet. Doctor Angiolino Quarenghi was a great sports physician who also took care of the Inter team in Herrera’s time; in fact the team held many training camps in San Pellegrino Terme.
