From the car park in Oneta take the mule track which climbs between two houses, bend immediately to the right and continue to Sentino. After you reach the small square leave the tarmacked road and follow the track towards the right which will join Costa dei Lupi at a drinking fountain. The path passes under some arches, descends, rises again and reaches Pradavalle. Go into the hamlet and follow the mule track which brings you to a bird-hunting area situated on a ridge which separates San Giovanni from Cornello and marks the half-way point of this route. Here there are two possibilities: leave the bird-hunting area, take the unpaved road which climbs eastwards (towards Cancervo) and follow it towards the Church of Pianca; or continue towards Bretto where you can climb towards the Church of Ludovico and then descend towards Cornello dei Tasso.
