Want to test yourself on rock, physical routes and scenic mountain environments? The Brembana Valley offers crags and via ferratas designed for those seeking technical, continuous and physically demanding climbs.

Various climbing in Piazzatorre

In Piazzatorre you will find the Canal del Coren Crag, with compact limestone walls and more than 20 routes from 5th to 8th grade. The exposure and vegetation make climbing practicable even in the summer months.
Not far away, the “Bruno Tassi very Camos” crag offers 23 recently bolted routes, easily accessible from the tourist office parking lot. It is a suitable area for those who are improving their technique as well as for those who are looking for more intense routes while staying close to the services of the sports center.

Continuity in Roncobello

The crags of Corna Piana and Porta delle Cornacchie offer 82 routes on verrucano, from 4c to 7c+. Southeast exposure ensures good conditions on sunny days. Access takes about 20 minutes on a forest trail.
The pegging is solid and the routes favor vertical and endurance climbing with wide views of the valley.

Brembilla and Cornalba: Climbing for experienced climbers

The Monte Corno Crag, above Brembilla, is a vertical limestone structure with routes from 6a to 8a, reachable from the 596 trail in Cavaglia in about 30 minutes. It is a popular area for those seeking technical and physically demanding pitches.
In Cornalba, Corna Bianca is one of the most important hubs in the valley: over 100 routes, several sectors and a wide variety of difficulties. Some sectors, such as Apache, require a longer approach and good physical preparation.

Maurizio ferrata for experts

On the Alben massif, the Maurizio Ferrata is a well-equipped but physically demanding route. It is reached in about 20 minutes from Oltre il Colle and takes about 2 hours to complete. It alternates between vertical, traverse and exposed sections, with a summit finish and open views of the Orobie.
