The birth of VisitBrembo
The VisitBrembo association was born towards the end of 2018, from a strong shared interest - accrued after several meetings - among some representatives of institutions and associations in the area (read the memorandum of association here).
From the beginning, the association involves:
- All valley municipalities;
- economic operators, starting with the largest ones:
- local promotion associations.
VisitBrembo is an Association apolitical e non-profit.
The clear goals shared by all from the beginning are:
- work in synergy, leaving aside typical country parochialism;
- Promote the Brembana Valley in its entirety, without any territorial limits;
- create a single interlocutor to support the communication and promotion activities implemented in the territory by all those genuinely interested in its economic and social growth;
with the ultimate goal of Giving a boost to valley tourism development.
The board of directors and tourist areas
In order to ensure a broad representation of the territory and valley tourism realities on the board, the Brembana Valley territory has been divided into the following tourism areas:
AT1 - Lower and Middle Valley
Municipalities: San Giovanni Bianco, San Pellegrino Terme, Sedrina, Ubiale Clanezzo, Zogno.
AT2 - Val Taleggio - Val Brembilla
Municipalities: Blello, Taleggio, Val Brembilla, Vedeseta.
AT3 - Val Serina
Municipalities: Algua, Bracca, Cornalba, Costa Serina, Dossena, Oltre il Colle, Serina.
AT4 - Upper Brembo
Municipalities: Averara, Cassiglio, Cusio, Mezzoldo, Olmo al Brembo, Ornica, Piazzatorre, Piazza Brembana, Piazzolo, Santa Brigida, Valtorta.
AT5 - Upper East Valley
Municipalities: Branzi, Camerata Cornello, Carona, Foppolo, Isola di Fondra, Lenna, Moio de’ Calvi, Roncobello, Valnegra, Valleve.
Each area is represented by contact persons appointed from a shortlist of mayors or delegates of member municipalities belonging to the specific tourism area.

Goals
VisitBrembo is a tourism promotion and local development association that aims to promote the natural, artistic and human heritage of the Brembana Valley through the development of strategies of communication, marketing and organization of tourism in order to enhance the different types of tourism, in synergy with local and/or higher entities, companies and operators.
VisitBrembo is also committed to the promotion of all geographical areas that by territorial contiguity is connected to the tourism system of the Brembana Valley.
