The beauty of Costa Serina's landscape is enriched by the small villages surrounding the town, places where the numerous water springs once represented a valuable resource for daily life. Prominent among them is the “Al del Fèr” spring, an important spring because the water gushes directly from living rock, collected and piped with great care. It gushes in an elegant well surrounded by stone seats and reaches a small park accessible by steps from the road. It is located near the Shrine of Our Lady of the Fork, next to the new road leading to the Tagliata district.
Other historical sources embellish the area:
- Leamàgn Fountain, in the Gròm locality, not far from the path from Nespello to Trafficanti.
- Asen Fountain, located in the village of Nespello.
- Fountain àl di Bèi, in the Margheretelli locality, in the Trafficanti district.
- Còp fountain, in the Pimpiàl valley above Cà Salvetti, also in the Trafficanti district.
- Butirù Fountain, in the Crocetta locality, which feeds two reservoirs: one for the contrada of Tassone Basso and a larger one for the hamlet of Ambriola.
These springs, still nestled in an authentic landscape, tell the story and traditions of Costa Serina.
