Parish Church Of Santa Maria Assunta In Bordogna

Via Musati

A building with an unusual appearance and two bell towers: the old bell tower (mid-15th century) flanked by the newer one; this characteristic makes this church unique and special. The first church was built in the first half of the 1400s and has given way to the present one, built at the beginning of the 1700s. It contains several paintings by Carlo Ceresa, a valuable kneeler by the famous Rovelli and a wooden choir from the first half of the 1700s.  Above the main door there is a wooden bust of Cardinal Felice Cavagnis, a native of Bordogna.
