The walk begins by taking via Gardata and then continuing toward via Rivioni, where the village gives way to the first glimpses of the surrounding natural landscape. Reaching via San Rocco, follow CAI path 117, which climbs gently in the direction of the small hamlet of Belfiore.
Here one encounters a charming little church dedicated to St. Pantaleone and St. Barbara, the latter particularly venerated in the past by quarrymen in the area. The village, cosy and surrounded by greenery, still retains the authentic atmosphere of the small mountain villages of the Upper Brembana Valley.
Continuing along the trail, you reach the hamlet of Cornello, a natural balcony offering a splendid view of the Branzi waterfall and the entire village, nestled between rock walls and coniferous forests. The view here is one of the most characteristic in the valley, ideal for a rest or for a few photo shoots.
The descent to Branzi is via the characteristic steps, a cobblestone path that comfortably leads back into the heart of the village, thus completing a short but rich itinerary of scenic views, local history and small hidden treasures.
