Within the municipal territory of San Giovanni Bianco, the two paths (tourist and hiking) converge, and the route of the Via Mercatorum in the segment from Antea to Cornello also joins them. You cross the entire village in the valley floor, first on the left bank of the Brembo, then, from the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) of San Giovanni Bianco, on the right bank in order to, upon leaving the village, approach the mule track that ascends to Oneta and then Cornello. Access to San Giovanni Bianco is via the branch on the left bank of the valley's cycle-pedestrian path. The historic center, of modest size, rests on the spur at the confluence of the Brembo and the Enna stream.

«Having passed Val Grande and entered the municipality of San Giovanni Bianco, the road continued along the Brembo River, passing under a portico still present today in Via Gratarolo and crossing the Enna River valley on a bridge, still passable. In 1882, the bridge for the current road was built next to it. The old road, which Priuli abandoned to build a more convenient one, climbed in altitude after leaving San Giovanni to reach the medieval village of Cornello. La Priula, however, ran at a lower elevation, along the river, following the path of the current road.»
