Via Priula in San Pellegrino Terme

From Pregalleno, the two tourist and hiking routes proceed in common, crossing the village on the left Brembo hydrographic bank along the municipal promenade, with some sections on the valley bike/pedestrian path and on a trail that communicates with Ambria on the left Brembo bank. The historic route of the Priula Road remains, as it is known, on the right bank but is replaced by the modern road system. The Umberto I bridge allows the route to be connected to the POIs of San Pellegrino Terme and to receptive establishments.

«The locality Ruspino was passed at high altitude until reaching Rigosa. From here the trail began the descent that ended in front of the Church of Our Lady of Caravaggio.
In San Pellegrino Terme one crossed a long arcade (still present) where in a short time a caneva also arose, a store where basic necessities were sold at prices decided by the municipality. Today that point in San Pellegrino retains the same toponym, Caneva. After San Pellegrino, one passed through the territory of Fuipiano al Brembo (today a hamlet of San Giovanni Bianco), passing in front of the small church of San Rocco; its position quite a bit lower than the current roadway site suggests the height of the Priula that flowed past it. It then continued past the three scalugge, ups and downs given by the presence of two rocky ridges present before entering the territory of San Giovanni Bianco.».
