The path starts from the Selvino Volcano Park, near the Town Hall square. Following via Camozzi, you reach a roundabout, from which you turn right along via Talpino. After about 1.5 km, you arrive at a stop sign and descend to the left for 800 meters, until the first hairpin bend, where you take a downhill path into the woods. After crossing a stream and a fork, continue straight until you emerge back onto the asphalt.
Continue left along SP 28, reaching the first houses of the Rigosa hamlet. Near the church, the second section of the path begins, leading to the houses of Ambriola. After a short descent on the road, climb up a steep but quiet paved road that leads towards Tassone – Trafficanti.
Upon reaching the upper road, turn right onto the SP 36, which partly follows the route of the ancient Via Mercatorum, a historic medieval trade route. Continuing towards Aviatico, you will pass through the town center and then face a steep descent that leads directly back to Selvino, thus completing a scenic loop that alternates between woods, ancient hamlets, and historic roads.
