The rural mountain culture of the Alpine and pre-Alpine arc is rich in testimonies of people's faith and devotion: along paths, clearings and ancient routes, numerous alpine capitals, small wooden sculptures depicting Christ on the cross, and picturesque “shrines” dedicated to the community's patron saints survive. In the territory of Oltre il Colle, these testimonies can be found not only among the streets of the village, but also immersed in the woods and meadows that surround it, creating an evocative itinerary of relaxation and faith.
