The route begins in Selvino, on Via Salmeggia, and leads to one of the most picturesque corners of the plateau. It follows the road through hamlets surrounded by greenery until it reaches the Sanctuary of Madonna del Perello, a place rich in history and spirituality, set among woods and glades.
Behind the church starts a characteristic flight of steps, flanked by an evocative Via Crucis: a short but intense stretch that climbs among stone walls and beech tree shadows until it reaches the upper paved road. From here, with a pleasant panoramic stretch, you reach the Cantoniera della Passata, a strategic point between Selvino, Miragolo and Aviatico, also ideal as a rest stop.
To transform the outing into a loop tour, it is possible to return to Selvino by following the many agro-silvopastoral paths and roads that cross forests, pastures and scenic ridges, thus completing a simple but atmospheric itinerary, perfect for those seeking a walk immersed in the nature of the Selvino-Aviatico Plateau.
