Itinerary Forcella di Bura ~ Monte Foldone

The path that starts from the Forcella di Bura pass crosses one of the wildest and most spectacular areas of the Brembilla Valley. After parking, take the dirt track following the signs on the Valle Taleggio tourist panel. In about 25 minutes, you will reach a hut at Sabbioni, where the path becomes steeper and enters the hornbeam and beech forest.
Once past the shaded area, the path opens onto a panoramic balcony characterized by pinnacles, spires, ravines, and overhangs, often offering the chance to spot roe deer, chamois, deer, and birds of prey. While a very scenic route, it requires caution in some exposed sections.
After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, you reach a hunting blind from which the path divides into three directions; to reach Foldone, follow the track on the right. Upon arriving at the plateau, you'll find a hut once used by the herdsman and, just beyond a ridge, a typical recently renovated alpine hut, an ideal spot for a scenic break.
