Park the car in the peaceful hamlet of Piazzo, San Giovanni Bianco, and after a few steps, you'll reach the entrance of the road leading up to Schiava. After just a hundred meters, turn left onto a small road that might seem like a dead end at first glance; in reality, at its end, the path begins, leading towards the panoramic slopes above.
The path gently ascends through woods, meadows, and viewpoints of the middle Brembana Valley, reaching the locality of Costa San Gallo, an ancient rural core nestled between sunny slopes and well-kept pastures. From here, several possibilities for continuation open up: it is possible to descend towards San Pietro d’Orzio, a characteristic village with stone houses and alleys that preserve all the charm of mountain tradition, or to continue south following the path that leads to the locality of San Gallo, a natural balcony overlooking the valley.
