The Zogno Valley Museum is a fascinating ethnographic museum opened in 1979.
It was created by the will of its founder, Vittorio Polli, who donated his own home with the intention of making known and handing down customs, traditions and ancient crafts of the Brembana Valley and its people. The museum itinerary develops between the rooms of the original house and two additional rooms housed in an annex building, dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
Outside, a large area displays ancient means of transportation and agricultural tools that tell the story of daily life and work in the fields. The museum's rich collection includes everyday objects, work tools and equipment that have accompanied human existence in the Bergamo mountains for centuries. The objects are placed back in their original contexts-the house, the barn, the yard, the countryside-allowing the visitor to fully understand their functions, meanings and history.
The Valley Museum is a place where tradition and memory come to life, bearing witness to the ingenuity and creativity of past generations and offering an authentic look at the cultural identity of the Brembana Valley.
