The refuge located at 1968 m, can be reached on foot from Carona, Roncobello and Branzi.
Located in an area rich in alpine fauna and flora, it is surrounded by numerous reservoirs and majestic peaks that offer various hikes, an ideal base for small walks or day hikes.
The hut can only be reached on foot from the following locations:
Brembana Valley
- from Carona: trail 211 hours 3
- from Roncobello loc. Baite di Mezzano: trail 215 hr 2
- from Branzi: trail 212 3.30 hours
Seriana Valley
- from Valcanale: trail 216 hours 4
- From Valgoglio: (for sanguigno valley) trail 232 hrs 5 / (for aviasco pass) trail 228-229-214 hrs 5
The lodge offers hikers bar, restaurant and overnight accommodations in a youthful environment, where you will find an excellent welcome and a carefully prepared cuisine that focuses on traditional local dishes accompanied by a selection of local wines.
The lodge is also designed for families and groups by offering ½ board or full board stays.
Dine at the refuge with our carefully prepared cuisine that pays attention to the products of the area where you can enjoy the traditional Bergamo cured meats and cheeses.For those looking for typical dishes, you can choose from Casoncelli or Pizzoccheri, fresh pasta with meat or game sauce or a warm soup. Our game meats, Venison or Wild Boar, roasts and stews of Donkey or Beef, polenta with mushrooms or melted cheese. All accompanied by a good glass of local wine. For the sweet tooth, our cakes prepared and baked daily.
Excursions
From the Gemini Lakes hut it is possible to set off on various excursions to explore the area's 5 artificial lakes, Gemini, Colombo, Becco, Marcio and Casere.
To ascents on the peaks surrounding the refuge, Pizzo Becco, Farno, Corte and others.
Go in search of the special flora or in search of the mineral conformations in the area.
