Taleggio Valley Ecomuseum

Like all ecomuseums, the’Taleggio Valley Ecomuseum is at once territory, population and heritage, because it narrates and enhances the characteristics of the landscape, history, memory and identity of a place.
The real protagonist is the people of the valley, creators of the landscape and custodians of the territorial heritage. The Ecomuseum collects the memories of the past and encourages new generations to keep their roots alive while building their future.
The Ecomuseum is developed through three experiential video installations, located in typical huts: “In VaCcanza,” “Tu casaro,” and “Stagìonàti,” which guide visitors to discover the production, processing and aging of Taleggio and Strachitunt DOP.
