“Cà dei Gnech: the home of the Bergamino” - Permanent exhibition.
Enter an authentic late 19th-century home that has always been home to a Bergamini family.
The Bergamini were herders who differed from shepherds: instead of owning a few cattle or leading the herds of others, they managed their own livestock, becoming protagonists of seven centuries of transhumance in Lombardy. Their presence has left a still recognizable imprint on the livestock structures and agri-food traditions of the region.
The main house consists of three rooms: bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. There are also two other apartments, each consisting of two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.
We will be happy to welcome you!
