Next to the parish church, the bell tower of the preexisting church is still preserved, having a square stone tower structure built with unworked blocks.
That bell tower underwent various modifications, including the insertion of mullioned windows with two lights on the east and west sides. The ’present parish church was built beginning in 1715 on the site of the previous church, consecrated in 1447, and consecrated under the title of St. Mary of the Assumption in 1737.
The rather severe building on the outside has no particularly interesting elements, but inside there are works of high value (Ceresa canvases).
