Osio Park offers numerous areas equipped with picnic tables and large lawns ideal for outdoor dining, as well as a new, modern fitness trail and the chance to try your hand at an orienteering route. Also inside the park is the “Animals of the Woods” trail, an art installation created by skilled sculptors who transformed trees damaged by the 2018 storm into striking works of art.
Orienteering course description
The route is basic level (very easy), completely flat and accessible even with strollers. It develops in the two main parks of Selvino and is perfect as a first experience to approach orienteering and test yourself in an easy and fun way.
On particularly clear evenings, when the wind clears the air, from the highest part of Osio Park-the part facing Corso Milano-you can admire a splendid view of the plain, illuminated by thousands of lights shining in the dark.
Fitness trail
Extended over the entire Osio Park area, the fitness trail provides new equipment that can be used outdoors. Each station is equipped with a QR code that provides useful instructions and tips, making the activity easier even for the less experienced.
