La Ornica in the Heart Cooperative was born in February 2024 from the union of desires and ideas of a group of young Ornicheans who chose to get involved to enhance their country. Strong ties to the area are the driving force behind the Cooperative, which is committed to recovering the values of small mountain communities, where authentic relationships and mutual aid were-and still are-fundamental.
The Cooperative's goal is to. Conveying the love for Ornica and for a simple way of life handed down from past generations: a way of life based on the resources of the land, sound principles and humble values, essential elements for coping with everyday life in a mountain setting.
“The goal of Ornica in the Heart is to try to convey what the country we are in love with represents to us, but also the aspects of a simple way of life, handed down to us from past generations, based on the resources at hand, sound principles and humble values that are essential to survive in such a challenging environment.”
The cooperative carries out the diffuse hospitality project, which allows guests to stay in apartments located in the heart of the historic village, offering them a true return to their origins, where time follows the rhythm of the seasons.
L’Diffused Hotel offers a family atmosphere and cozy spaces: six apartments equipped with private bathrooms, living room with dining area and equipped kitchen.
The facility is also strategically located, easily accessible from the Piazzatorre ski lifts-with which it has an agreement-and the Piani di Bobbio ski areas.
