The beautiful Mezzeno basin is certainly worth a visit. Here you will find an exceptional formai de Mut prepared in the dairies of the alpine farmers who spend the summer period with their animals in this authentic oasis of paradise. If, in addition to cheese, you also love walking, you will have the opportunity to take beautiful hikes through the larch and fir forests that run from Capovalle to Mezzeno. The forest thins out here and from this basin you can admire Mount Menna (North Slope), Mount Vetro and Corno del Branchino. From the Baite there is the Flower Trail (see sheet) and the hike to the Laghi Gemelli (Twin Lakes).
