Gremei Refuge

Rifugio Gremei is located on Torcola Vaga, above Piazzatorre, at 1550 meters. It overlooks the ski slopes of the district and, in summer, becomes a starting point for walks through pine forests and ascents to nearby peaks. From here the panorama opens wide over the Orobie, with Pizzo Tre Signori clearly visible in front.
The atmosphere is typical of mountain lodges: wood, warmth, hearty dishes. You can have lunch with polenta, braised beef, mushrooms, cheeses from the valleys, or stop for a sandwich and a quick break at the bar. When the season allows, the sun terrace becomes the perfect place to hang out in the sun. There is no shortage of themed evenings and night hikes with a chairlift ride back.
The hut is easily accessible by chairlift from the parking lot at the base of the lifts or on foot, with about an hour's walk on the trail up from the Pinewoods. From here you can continue to the Torcole 2000 Refuge or choose easy trails in the surrounding area.
A comfortable and cozy place to experience in winter after a descent or in summer after a hike, with the space and quiet typical of the upper valley.
