Ethnographic Museum

The museum is housed in the former Court House, so named because the vicar once lived there. The building dates back to medieval times.
On display inside the museum are all the objects that tell the story of valley life and the trades of yesteryear. On the ground floor, the kitchen environment is reconstructed with the stüa, the typical domestic hearth, in the center. Also on the ground floor are the shoemaker's workshop and the dairy. On the first floor are the kitchen-living room, the tailor's shop, and the bedroom. On the second floor is the carpenter's workshop, a room devoted to ironworking, and one to spinning and weaving. Tools used by coalmen, farmers, cattle breeders and masons can also be found inside the museum.
