Valtorta is Bergamo's gateway to the Valtorta - Piani di Bobbio ski area, a large and well-connected ski area, ideal for those taking their first steps on skis but also for those looking for smoother, more continuous runs. Direct access to the Piani di Bobbio allows you to range between different slopes and experience a varied day of skiing under the walls of Pizzo dei Tre Signori, the mountain that dominates the entire basin.
From Valtorta Ceresola start the lifts that ascend the slopes toward Bobbio, forming one of the first interval ski areas in the province: two slopes, one skiable domain. The slopes are mostly easy to medium difficulty, perfect for families, groups and growing skiers.
Not only alpine skiing: the area also offers cross-country skiing, with the Ceresola ring, nestled in a wide and quiet basin, surrounded by forests and the village's characteristic rural architecture.
The village of Valtorta retains a strong identity: stone houses, dark roofs, pastures and parables of mountain history that can be read in the landscape. Here snow is not just sport, but a way of experiencing the mountains in an accessible, natural, close way.
