Roncobello crags

There are two important crags in the territory of Roncobello, both of which are very popular with climbing enthusiasts. Falesia Corna Piana (in the Vendulo locality - Monte Corno) is a beautiful wall in Lombard verrucano, with routes ranging from grades five to eight. It is well bolted in all sectors and is located in a quiet, scenic and pleasantly sunny area. The area includes about fifteen routes spread over three sectors, all characterized by very beautiful and compact rock. The bolting has been taken care of by Claudio Milesi and Alessandro Gervasoni. More recent and constantly evolving, however, is the Falesia Porta delle Cornacchie, which currently has about 60 routes. The bolting of the overhanging sector was done by Bruno Tassi (Camòs), while in the other sectors Mauro Scanzi worked, with the support of Claudio Milesi and Alessandro Gervasoni. In total, about 130 routes were equipped on the two crags, suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers, with difficulties ranging from 4th to 8th. Thanks to their multi-slope exposure, it is possible to climb almost all year round, with the exception of the winter months when the presence of snow can make it difficult.
