Climbing in White Horn

Climbing in Cornalba is not easy because the conformation of the wall allows few holds making the movements more and more studied and complex. This was well known by Bruno Tassi “Camos” and Gianandrea Tiraboschi, who back in 1980 “sniffed” something incredibly beautiful above their heads that would allow them to train close to home without waiting for the weekend to “escape” to France, on the walls of Verdon. With great passion and tenacity, they began to equip the crag so that they could climb or rather practice “free-climbing.” Corna Bianca, today, boasts more than 132 routes with a few pitches below the 6th grade. On the walls of the “Monolith of the Gods,” fans of this exciting sport can measure themselves on truly exciting lengths from a technical point of view that go beyond mere athletic performance. This is why “horns” has become a top attraction both nationally and internationally.
