Buffa Outdoor Experience is an experiential mountain biking and trekking tourism project that was born from the passion of a group of friends for the outdoors, in a mix of cultures between the Orobie Mountains and Sicily.
“Buffa Experience” is the brainchild of Carmiliano Raffaele, a Sicilian environmental hiking guide, who “swept away by an unusual fate” discovered the Brembana Valley, in the province of Bergamo, in 2002 and ended up falling in love with its mountains.
In San Pellegrino Terme the meeting in 2020 with those who would become friends and valuable collaborators: Ivan Milesi, guide of the Orobie Bergamasche Park, the sherpa, mountain man doc and profound connoisseur of life in the mountain pastures, Chiara Pesenti, massage therapist, nature lover, president of the association Amici di Sussia and curator of the project ’Sussia and the guardians of the mountain,“ Tony De Castro, musician, the joker and finally Rossano La Terra, biker and companion of a thousand adventures in Sicilian land.
Each with their own history and professional background, but all sharing a strong “call for nature” and a desire to share experiences in the Brembana Valley with participants. Buffa Outdoor Experience will take you to discover natural beauty, ancient traditions and typical products of the Orobian Pre-Alps and Alps area.
