The museum's collections cover some important naturalistic and geological aspects of the Breton area: geology, paleontology, entomology, avifauna, and flora.
The museum originated from a donation by local private researchers, who in the 1980s, after several years of research, decided to offer their material to the community to be preserved for display and study.
The researchers who had the meticulous preparation of the material, which was then the subject of study by world researchers, later collaborated, under the direction of the conservator of the Bergamo Museum, in organizing the exhibitions, which concluded with the entry of this museum into the provincial Triassico.it system.
Visits to the different sections also make use of the explanations contained in several illustrative educational panels and audio guides. The museum was dedicated to priest Don Enrico Caffi, a distinguished naturalist from Bergamo who was born in San Pellegrino Terme in 1866.Guided tours by reservation with Road 470.
