The Botanical Garden
It is built in the green area located next to the ENEL power plant, in an area where a major urban renewal and redevelopment project is planned. It is reached by a pedestrian path, also accessible to the disabled, that starts from the parking lot in Via Pagliari, crosses the Brembo River on an ancient arched bridge and arrives at the botanical garden area. This is organized as a garden and is equipped for full usability by wheelchair users and the blind. The path and all plant species are marked by specific botanical indicators, Braille plaques, and tactile maps.
The Bouldering Hall
A new indoor space dedicated to bouldering, or climbing on low structures, without ropes and with mattresses on the ground, is being built in the Botanical Garden area. The hall will have about 65 sq. m. of climbing panels mounted on the arched glulam structure and another 45 sq. m. of vertical wall, all with more than 600 climbing holds.
