March Expulsion
Armed with cowbells, rows of cans, frying pans and other noisy objects, participants will help symbolically drive away winter and the bad season, represented by the figure of “Grandpa Winter.”.
At the end of the procession, the traditional burning of “Grandfather Winter” will be held, an evocative and meaningful moment that marks the transition to the new season. The evening will continue in a convivial atmosphere in Alpine Square, where it will be possible to enjoy mulled wine and hot tea with friends.
In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Sunday, March 29.
