Trekking in the Serina Valley

On May 18, we will take you on a tour of the Betinel farm located between the municipalities of Over the Hill, Valpiana and Serina.

We will walk in a kind of large natural theater surrounded by the peaks of Arera, Menna, Grem and Alben 

 

Here Andrea raises Alpine Brown cows, takes care of their management, milking, mowing the hay, while Aurora, our cheesemaker who learned the secrets of this ancient art in Switzerland, is engaged in the production and sale of the cheeses. 

Our trek will take place in a rural landscape, also crossing beech and fir forests, between the upper Serina Valley, Val Vedra and the mouth of the Parina Valley.

 

We will reach, finally, the dairy of our friends who will guide us to the ’tasting of stracchino, aged cheeses and delicate dairy products.
