OLMO AL BREMBO - ORATORY OF S. ANTONIO DA PADOVA (hamlet of Cigadola)
Visit to the church of Sant'Antonio da Padova in Cigadola (Olmo al Brembo)-The church of Cigadola constituted an anomalous case in the history of Olmo al Brembo because it was located on the right bank of the valley and belonged to the territory of Valle Averara, but it was aggregated to the parish of Piazzatorre, to which it belonged until the early 20th century. Inside is an interesting altarpiece by an anonymous person from the 1700s, depicting the Madonna crowned by angels, St. Anthony of Padua with baby Jesus and St. Dominic.
