On the two weekends of Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25, and Saturday, May 31 to Monday, June 2., Altobrembo's eleven municipalities will be locations for nature walks, immersive workshops for adults and children, visits to farms, in-depth lectures, meetings with experts, food tastings and an atmospheric night concert around the bonfire.
Seven days of events to learn about the villages, flora, fauna and traditions of Altobrembane at a slow pace immersed in the beauty of the Orobie Mountains.
Thanks to the involvement of local actors, professionals and institutions, this year's event is again full of playful and gastronomic offerings of lunches, dinners and small delicacies designed specifically for “Le Erbe del Casaro,” with the aim of raising awareness of local products, supporting local activities and letting participants taste the genuine flavors of mountain products.
Six restaurants are involved, offering themed menus in which you can enjoy nettle and potato soup with local Caprino; orecchiette with Parüch and crespelle with Formai de Mut from the Upper Brembana Valley DOP; grilled Casera cheese with polenta taragna and mixed herbs from the Brembana meadows; and Balabiocc with mascherpa and Parüch paired with a good glass of red wine. For those with a sweet tooth, there is also ice cream in arugula, basil, lemon&basilico and cornagì flavors.
