The church of St. Ludwig of Toulouse is located in the hamlet of Bretto, a small village, in the municipality of Camerata Cornello, linked to one of the branches of the Tasso family: the Tasso del Bretto family who carried out postal service between Venice and Rome, and between Venice and Bergamo.
The church's small size is compensated for by the richness of the extensive and well-preserved cycle of frescoes, the oldest being from the 16th century, and the portrait of Torquato Tasso crowned with laurel.
The visits are organized in collaboration with the Parish of Camerata Cornello. In case of snow and inability to reach the church safely, the visit will be cancelled.

For visiting the village: walking on cobblestone pavement. The path is outdoors so we recommend comfortable shoes and suitable clothing for the season. The access space to the bell tower is narrow and consists of steep flights of stairs.
For the visit to St. Ludwig of Toulouse: to reach the church, it is necessary to walk a short stretch of flat path; we recommend shoes suitable for walking on trails and suitable clothing for the season (the church is not heated).
